Fine Thread Embroidery is a small, owner-run business and we've been doing it for more than 15 years from our shop in Kyalami, on the Midrand/Johannesburg border.

The business was built on a simple promise: bring us your garments and your logo, and you'll get them back looking like a professional brand built them. No outsourcing, no guesswork, no surprises.

Meet Louise

Louise runs the business. She handles every brief personally — quoting, digitising approvals, production scheduling and quality checks. When you WhatsApp Louise or message her from your customer portal account, you're talking directly to the person who'll handle your order. There are no account managers in the middle.

Our digitising capability

Most embroidery shops outsource the digitising step (turning your logo into the stitch file the machines actually read). We do it in-house. That means we can tune the file specifically for the fabric, the size and the placement you're using — a logo at 7 cm on a beanie is a fundamentally different stitch file to the same logo at 25 cm on a jacket back, and we treat it that way. Where we are

Our studio is at Unit 42, Barbeque Corner, 27 Dytchley Road, Kyalami, 1684, Gauteng, South Africa, just off the R55 between Midrand and Johannesburg's northern suburbs. Most clients drop their stock with us in person and collect when it's ready — we're a five-minute drive from Kyalami Corner and the M1 highway. We can also arrange courier on request for clients further afield.

Who we work with

From single-shirt orders for individuals through to ongoing uniform programmes for hospitality groups, estate agencies, schools and trades businesses across South Africa. Our portal makes it easy to send a brief, upload your logo, and track your order from anywhere in the country.
